In short
ArbR Pro does not transmit any of your input to me or to third parties. The app requires no account, contains no analytics, tracking or advertising services and does not connect to the internet by itself. Everything you enter is stored only on your device. I have no access to it.
Data on your device
The app stores the following in its own storage area on your device:
- your input in the calculators, for example income, dates of the employment, postcode and fee input,
- matters with title and reference number, notes and the questionnaire,
- whether the full version has been purchased, display settings and a counter for the rating request.
The questionnaire may contain information about other persons, including particularly sensitive information such as a degree of disability, a pregnancy or trade union membership. Whether and what you enter there is up to you. If you record data about other persons, for example clients, you are yourself responsible for that processing. I do not receive this data.
The data is not synchronised between devices and is not stored in iCloud Drive. It is protected by the security features of iOS, in particular device encryption when a passcode is set; the app does not add its own encryption. You delete individual matters in the list of matters, and all data by deleting the app. The data may be part of a device backup you create via iCloud or your computer; your settings and Apple's terms apply to such backups.
Export and sharing
You can share or export calculation paths, matters and input as text. A matter export contains all information of the matter including the questionnaire and notes. The app passes the text only to the application you choose in the share menu, for example Mail, Messages or the Files app. What happens to the data there is determined by you and the chosen application.
In-app purchases
The full version can be purchased in the app. Purchase, payment and restoring are handled entirely by Apple; when the app starts, the system checks with the App Store whether the full version has been purchased. Apple processes your Apple ID and payment details under its own responsibility. Your input is not transmitted in the process. I do not receive any information from Apple that identifies you, only aggregated sales reports.
Rating request
From time to time the app asks for a rating using Apple's standard dialog. Whether and how you rate is transmitted only to Apple. I do not learn who has rated the app.
Maps and links
In the court directory you can open the address of a labour court in Apple Maps or Google Maps. The app passes only the address of the court, no information from your matters. You can also call up the telephone number, email address and website of a court. The info window and the footer contain an advertisement, marked as such, with a link, telephone number and email address. Only when you tap one of these does the respective app or website open; the privacy terms of its provider apply there.
App Store and Apple services
You use Apple's App Store to download, update and purchase. Apple processes the data required for this under its own responsibility; Apple's privacy policy applies. If you have agreed in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple provides me with aggregated usage and crash statistics. I cannot identify individuals from them.
Contact by email
If you write to me about the app, I process your details in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, otherwise point (f)). Please do not send me any matter or questionnaire data. The email is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR) as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). As the app does not transmit any personal data to me, in practice this mainly concerns emails you send me.
